1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Phraseq, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Phraseq is a vocabulary learning application that uses AI to generate contextual sentences, quizzes, daily words, and conversation practice for vocabulary you add. AI features are powered by our server-side infrastructure — no third-party API key is required from you.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use it for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. AI usage
AI features are provided as part of the Phraseq service. You agree not to attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the AI features for purposes outside of vocabulary learning. We reserve the right to rate-limit or restrict AI usage to maintain service quality.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Phraseq to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content; to attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform; to scrape or harvest data from the service; or to use the service in any way that violates Anthropic's usage policies.
6. Intellectual property
The Phraseq application, design, and original content are owned by Phraseq. Sentences generated by Claude AI via your API key are governed by Anthropic's terms. Words and vocabulary data you add remain yours.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Phraseq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated sentences are always grammatically perfect or contextually appropriate for every situation.
9. Limitation of liability
Phraseq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which may be $0 if you use a free plan).
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
